Storm Recovery for

MIRBOO NORTH

Our beautiful little village bore the brunt of a fierce storm in Feb 2024, which damaged our much-loved bushland and left many in our community with a considerable clean-up task. The community response has once again shown the strong, beating heart of this town and reminded us why we love to call Mirboo North home.

There has been damage to some public spaces which visitors love to visit including the Baths Road Reserve, the Mirboo North Swimming Pool and the Mirboo North Golf Club. These attractions are currently closed and we are working to rebuild. We will update the website as they reopen.

In the meantime, Mirboo North’s Grand Ridge Rail Trail and Lyrebird Forest Walk are both open, our bustling main street is undamaged, and our businesses are open – ready and waiting to welcome visitors. We encourage you to visit and support Mirboo North businesses, however we do ask that you avoid affected residential streets to protect the privacy of residents as they rebuild.

If you would like to help Mirboo North, we encourage you to donate to the special fund set up by the Mirboo North & District Community Foundation:
